Just completed my first piece for 2015 titled "Concertino."  It's a work for 14 musicians.  In retrospect the piece seems to draw upon sounds heard in my youth.

• The introduction is an omaggio to Varèse.
• The middle section is infused with Webern-inspired pointillism.
• The end is Zappa-esque, has a defiant tune you can hum, and builds to a toe-tapping finale intended to invoke a smile.
